Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC Must-Have: - 2 years of experience as a nurse - At least 1 year of experience in an emergency room setting - Teamwork mentality - Ability to coach and provide real-time feedback - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department Description: We are committed to providing a positive impact and quality care. We serve as a regional referral center for trauma, strokes, and neonatal intensive care. Additionally, we provide pediatric emergency services with specialized care for children. Our emergency department accommodates a high volume of patients annually. The patient-to-nurse ratio typically stands at 4:1, increasing during behavioral holds. We have a team of dedicated staff, including techs and clerks, to support patient care. We utilize advanced equipment and a comprehensive documentation system. Scheduling requires availability for every other weekend and must align with departmental needs. Floating is limited to sections within the emergency department.
