Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence.You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.How You Will Make an Impact Assist in the preparation and/or review of daily, weekly, and monthly NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations for assigned funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and client agreementsReview and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting records.Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and other ad-hoc reporting for clientsAct as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and maintain strong client relationshipsCollaborate with internal teams, including operations, legal, and compliance, to resolve issues and optimize processesParticipate in the onboarding of new clients and funds, ensuring smooth transitions and accurate setupAssist in the development and implementation of best practices and process improvements within the fund accounting departmentEnsure adherence to internal controls, policies, and proceduresSupport audit requests and provide necessary documentation to external auditorsRequired Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3-5 years of experience in fund accounting, with a strong understanding of various investment vehicles (e.g., hedge funds, private equity, fund of funds, mutual funds)Proven knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standardsProficiency in fund accounting software (e.g., Advent Geneva, Sungard Investran, SS&C HiPortfolio) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWhat Sets You ApartCPA or CFA designation is a plus1+ year of experience in a supervisory or team lead role preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneouslyJoin SS&C, where innovation meets global opportunities.
