Job Description As an Armed Security Officer – Driver (Afternoon shift) in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a variety of industries, including government. This part‑time security officer role allows you to build a schedule that works for you while supporting the public with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity within a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $21.00 per hour Job Schedule Day / Night – Saturday 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM; Sunday 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public‑serving government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining professionalism in an armed post. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter spaces to identify unusual activity or policy violations. Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures. Support a welcoming environment for patrons, employees, and visitors by giving directions, addressing routine concerns, and documenting security‑related incidents and daily activities. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Must possess an armed guard card/license. Valid driver’s license required, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. At least 21 years of age for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Applications with criminal histories will be considered in compliance with applicable laws. Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law. Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
