Vascular OR RN

This position involves working in the vascular operating room. The shift will be three 12-hour days, scheduled per unit needs from Monday to Friday. On-call is required, with an expectation of 6-8 calls per month, including weekends. Holidays may require call as well. Experience in circulating complex vascular cases is essential, while scrubbing experience is not required. Travelers should be aware of emergency response assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Common vascular procedures include endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, cold leg, thrombectomy, amputation, carotid, and AV fistula. The facility operates as a Level I trauma center and teaching facility. Required equipment includes a radiation badge, provided by the agency. RTO must be provided at the time of submission and cannot be accepted afterward. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Travelers are advised to complete all lab work within designated timelines. All candidates should maintain current certifications and licensure throughout the assignment.
