Compensation: $339.50 - $367.50

Our organization is in search of an Endocrinology physician to provide locum tenens support, addressing an immediate need within our facility.

Opportunity Details

Schedule:
- 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for a 5-day workweek
- 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. for a 4-day workweek
No on-call duties required.
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Types of Cases:
- Adult endocrinology and diabetes management
- Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes care
- Insulin pump management
- Continuous glucose monitoring
- Thyroid disorders
- Osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases
- Adrenal and pituitary disorders
- General endocrinology
Average patient load is 16–20 per day. Experience with thyroid fine-needle aspiration is preferred but not mandatory.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–120 days
Electronic Medical Record System: Epic
Required Certifications:
- Board Certified
- Basic Life Support
- Active Maine Drug Enforcement Administration registration (to be obtained 2 weeks prior to start)
Licensure: Maine medical license; candidates must be willing to obtain licensure.
