Job Description: Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Edgecombe Youth Development Center! This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility. Details:
- Location: Rocky Mount, NC
- Schedule: TBD
- Employment Type: Contract
- Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing) or multi-state license
- Ability to pass a strict background check
- Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments
- Monitor and document patients' health status and respond to medical emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care
- Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
- Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
