As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential care location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the residential community, including buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with access control and reporting unusual conditions.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
