Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Reconciliation Team. The area of business focuses on cash, asset and listed derivatives reconciliation to assure accurate Net Asset Values (NAVs) across all funds in accordance with BNY standard operating. This role is located in Wroclaw.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Managing the performance of a multi-client reconciliation team
• Providing guidance to a team under supervision to ensure that reconciliation records are maintained in accordance with regulations and departmental policies and procedures
• Ensuring necessary controls are in place and adhered to in order to provide complete, accurate and timely fund administration services to clients
• Leading working relationships with all parties involved in fund accounting and reconciliation processes
• Recruiting, directing and developing staff under supervision, maximizing their individual contribution and professional growth
• Reconciling accounting and custody positional, investigation breaks and escalation support
• Ensuring that standard procedures and controls are adhered to on a daily basis by all staff under supervision
• Reporting and explaining any significant operational issues to a Control and Management Governance
• Ensuring that client concerns and requests are addressed on time
• Representing team during client's visits
• Ensuring that audit queries are accurately and fully responded

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• At least 7 years of experience in finance related area, preferably fund accounting and reconciliation background
• Third level qualification in accounting/business related discipline
• Strong financial knowledge, especially relating to the financial instruments
• Very good English
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Responsibility for your tasks, timeliness and reliability
• Experience in people management is preferred
• AI and process improvement mindset would be an asset.
