Software EngineerGenesis10 is currently seeking a software engineer for a contract position with a global financial institution located in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role will focus on identifying, investigating, and remediating security vulnerabilities within existing enterprise applications. This position requires an engineer who can quickly understand established applications, analyze dependencies, research Microsoft security guidance, and implement vulnerability fixes within.NET and SQL-based systems.Responsibilities:Remediate application security vulnerabilities across enterprise systemsAnalyze existing.NET applications to determine vulnerability impactImplement fixes using Microsoft best practices and security guidanceInvestigate application dependencies and identify required remediation effortsWork within existing codebases rather than developing new applicationsSupport production applications requiring timely security updatesResearch Microsoft documentation and technical whitepapers to determine appropriate remediation strategiesCollaborate with development and support teams to deliver security fixes efficientlyRequirements:6-7 years of software engineering experienceStrong SQL development and troubleshooting experienceStrong.NET development experienceC#.NET Framework 4.8Modern.NET/CoreAngularExperience working on production support and application maintenanceAbility to understand complex application architectures quicklyStrong investigative and analytical troubleshooting skillsDesired Skills:Previous banking or financial services experienceExperience working within highly regulated environmentsFamiliarity with vulnerability remediation processesAbility to work independently with minimal onboardingExperience supporting enterprise applications with complex dependenciesPay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
