Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Michigan teaching certificate with Math Endorsement (must be included in application materials)
• Experience teaching General Education Math at the high school level
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively connect with students, families, and staff
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver relevant and accessible math instruction aligned with curriculum standards to high school students
• Develop lesson plans, adapt teaching methods, and utilize a variety of instructional materials and technologies
• Continually assess and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to support learning outcomes
• Collaborate with fellow educators, counselors, and school leadership to address students’ academic and social development
• Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and required professional development activities
