This is an excellent opportunity for a student or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a real-world technical environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with data migration projects by supporting data preparation, validation, testing, and execution activities while helping ensure project milestones are met. Support data mapping and transformation by validating field mappings between legacy systems and Ontic, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring data aligns with business requirements. Collaborate with Engineering, Implementation, and Client Success teams to support migration activities, troubleshoot data issues, and learn data migration best practices. Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, and validation to help maintain data accuracy and integrity throughout the migration process. Use SQL and other data tools to query, analyze, and manipulate datasets while developing technical skills in data migration and data management. Document migration processes, testing results, and data findings while contributing ideas to improve workflows and operational efficiency. Assist with client migration activities by preparing data reports, tracking migration progress, and supporting issue resolution under the guidance of senior team members. Requirements Current undergraduate student (rising junior, or senior preferred), pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Entry-level knowledge of various data types, structures, and formats (e.g., SQL, XML, CSV, JSON) Familiarity with SQL for querying and manipulating data during migrations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency Preferred Qualifications Experience with SQL through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Exposure to databases, data modeling, or ETL concepts through academic coursework or projects.
