Job Description:

- Work in a 122-bed acute care facility offering services in:
- Emergency Medicine
- Orthopedics
- Obstetrics
- Digestive Disorders
- Wound Care
- Various Medical, Surgical, and Outpatient Services

- As a Registered Nurse, you'll:
- Perform professional assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate patient care.
- Uphold established Standards of Nursing Practice while promoting teamwork among the health care team.

Job Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Graduate of a school of nursing: Required
- One-year recent acute care RN experience: Required


- Licenses & Certifications:
- Current RN license in state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course: Required on hire and every two years for experienced nurses
- New L&D RN's will take AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring course during first 6-8 months, then AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course every two years thereafter


- Essential Functions:
- Actively participate in committees and promote good guest relations with patients, families, and coworkers.
- Listen, observe, act, and follow through to completion.
- Maintain professional licenses and certifications as required.
- Treat all coworkers as professionals and offer assistance.
- Adhere to all professional and regulatory practices and hospital policies.
- Conduct all hospital business with the highest standard of ethical behavior.
- Demonstrate reliability through strong attendance and punctuality.
