The Membership Consultant will be responsible for the following. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.General ResponsibilitiesAdoption of relationship-based sales philosophy focused on information discoveryProspecting, lead generation, and building of referral businessSale of new memberships including Founding Memberships and Corporate MembershipsAchieving or surpassing individual sales goalsKnowledge of all member opportunities within the club and selling ancillary services; connecting new members to areas of interest to set them up for success and long-term membershipWorking cohesively with a team of Membership Consultants, your Membership Sales Manager, and VP of Membership Sales to be successful individually and as a teamEstablishing a strong sales pipeline, meeting sales objectives, and collaborating with a team to achieve the overall goals of the businessManaging select events geared towards engaging the membership base and/or generating interest in and excitement around the clubServing as a visible and active goodwill ambassador with members and at select special eventsDelivering superior customer service with an aim towards member retentionQualificationsAnalysis and understanding of key business metrics that directly impact membership growthSelf-motivated/entrepreneurial spirit with an outgoing, diligent, and affable dispositionSuperior customer service skills; excellent and clear communication skills, both verbal and written; strong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and ExcelPassion for fitness with a team-first mentalityAbility to work on nights, weekends, and holidays as neededExpected annual compensation: $75,000-$100,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr Chelsea Piers Fitness
