Credit Specialist

This position is responsible for:Acting as the Accounts Receivable liaison working with dealers, their respective banks, the Business Centers, MOPAR, Legal, Incentives, Fleet, Logistics and various other non-dealer customersSupporting the sales function while collecting cash and managing the financial risk associated with selling goods and servicesManaging and monitoring the day-to-day cash collection processes for assigned “lines of business” (vehicles, MOPAR parts, supplier and dealer loans, etc.)Investigating and resolving exceptions to standard cash collection processes and coordinating timely issue resolution with internal and external partnersPerforming customer credit reviews to determine creditworthiness and recommending/setting credit limits and payment terms in alignment with policy and risk appetiteReporting on the status of customer accounts (including past-due trends, key issues and action plans) and supporting monthly/periodic Credit Committee materials as neededCollaborates regularly with IT to enhance systems, resolve technical issues, and support continous process improvementsSupporting customer-related activities such as buy/sells, terminations, finance holds, banking data updates, new customer set-up, deferred terms requests and payment plan optionsAccounts Receivable budgeting, forecasting, actuals, variance explanations, month-end ledger activity, audit requirements and SOX complianceWhat You'll Learn:Understanding of the markets, brands, dealer network, production plan and logistics of vehiclesUnderstanding of vehicle and MOPAR part sales processes and related A/R cyclesCash flow and financial statement analysis to assess customer credit-worthinessBudgeting, forecasting, actuals/variance explanations / SOX compliance for assigned processesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting or relatedMinimum 5 years experience in Finance or AccountingEffective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with business partners and external partiesStrong systems background (SAP, Excel, mainframe)Preferred Qualifications:Master of Business Administration, CPA and/or CMAKnowledge and understanding of financial statementsEffective problem solving and analytical skillsPrior Credit/Collections experienceBrand: FCA GroupJob ID: 2018926Employment Type: Full-timeJob Area: FinancePosted Date: 09/06/2026
