Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure accuracy in test results, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, train new hires or students, and play a vital role in upholding laboratory quality standards.
• Foster a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with preparation to obtain ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Current certification must be maintained throughout employment.
