Work will consist of managing the division warehouse, assigned personnel, and maintaining grounds and building.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a harmonious working relationship with all division personnel.
• Monitor, control, schedule and balance workload of assigned personnel.
• Obtain approval from Division Manager prior to spending overtime with warehouse personnel.
• Monitor and control the Division Calendar to assure that weekly, monthly and quarterly schedules are met.
• Deliver job bids.
• Pick up mail.
• Purchase Order follow up.
• Verify accuracy of description and stock item numbers on all requisitions.
• Complete receiving reports on all materials delivered to warehouse.
• Handle all material credits and returns to suppliers.
• Send stock order form to Central Warehouse per division calendar.
• Monitor and control Job Take-Off material processing in division warehouse.
• Purchase and distribute tools.
• Monitor and charge out all company tools.
• Monitor and control tool tags and return of tools needing repair to Central Warehouse.
• Monitor and control the processing of tool tags for tools delivered by Central Warehouse.
• Purchase and distribute material.
• Gather required warehouse material for work orders and jobs.
• Pick up and deliver material.
• Receive material.
• Monitor and control the delivery of material and supplies from Central Warehouse.
• Provide assistance in the receiving and shipping of material for all division personnel.
• Maintain security of warehouse materials.
• Monitor and control material returned from job sites.
• Monitor and control return of all scrap conduit and wire from jobs and send to Wilson with each delivery truck.
• Check out scrap being sent to Wilson for any useable material.
• Receive quotations and purchase all material for PM's and SM's (should be able to purchase from take-off of estimate).
• Monitor and control the Warehouse Manual and Warehouse Procedures, consulting with the Central Warehouse Department Manager on suggestions.
• Maintain stock of rough-in and trim-out kits complete.
• Adding and deleting items to the inventory database.
• Check inventory key-in for accuracy.
• Perpetual inventory as required by Division Manager.
• Year end inventory procedures and physical count.
• Monitor and control yard and building maintenance and advise Division Manager of any problems.
• Yard and building maintenance (sweep, empty trash cans, cut grass & trim, pick up trash, and change light bulbs).
• Monitor and repair steps and platforms.
• Monitor and service all equipment (trencher, generator, tamps).
• Fill drink machine.
• Monitor and control the Company's established policies in the areas of, but not limited to:
• Substance Abuse Program.
• Safety Policy.
• Hazard Communication Program.
• Quality Assurance Program.
• Division Office Operating Procedures (Chart of Accounts).
• Adherence to the established policies concerning vehicle usage.
• Monitor and control all vehicle related paperwork for assigned vehicles.
• Monitor vehicle upkeep and oil changes.
• Monitor and control scheduling of division warehouse trucks.
• Additional responsibilities as requested by management.

Position Requirements:

Licenses - Current driver's license if required by job conditions; applicable federal, state and local licenses as required by job conditions or by the company.

Certifications - Applicable federal, state and local certifications as required by job conditions or by the company; fork lift.

Education - High School Graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent Watson training.

Experience - Required or necessary experience and/or training to assure all aspects of position are performed efficiently and productively while operating in accordance with policies and procedures of the company.

Working Conditions:

• Majority of work performed in division warehouse and on division grounds.
• Visits to job sites require working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, snow.
• Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (Porta-Johns).
• Employee's personal weight and personal tools cannot exceed weight limit of ladders.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required in Safety Handbook.
• Able to work 40 hours per week, overtime as required, night shifts; work out of town if needed.

Physical Function:

• Hear and see well (either naturally or with correction).
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach over head.
• Lift 50 to 100 pounds.
• Constantly move on feet.
• Climb ladders (all types).
• Must be able to make transition from employee parking area or street into construction work areas and to gain access to all levels of the building, even if the only means of access is by O.S.H.A. approved site construction ladder, or stairs still under construction but acceptable for use.
• Responsible for securing tools and materials from storage areas to complete assigned tasks.
• Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
