The assignment runs from September 15, 2025, through March 9, 2026, and offers the chance to develop valuable experience in a collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Previous experience in a school-based OT role, preferably with K-8 student populations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices in special education
• Positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-8 students
• Support student engagement and participation in classroom activities
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to set and review therapy goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Attend IEP meetings, share insights, and contribute to the educational team
