Facilities And Equipment Maintenance Manager

Plans utilization of space and facilities for company consistent with requirements of organizational efficiency, and available facilities and funds. Plans, directs and manages all phases of equipment and machinery maintenance, facilities modification and building projects from establishment of design concepts through design and implementation. Ensures project requirements are defined, contract and contract changes are negotiated, operating budgets established, and financial terms/conditions of contract are identified. Acts as primary contact for facilities, and equipment and machinery maintenance, project activities and leads project reviews of cost, schedule and technical performance. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans, budgets and schedules. Identifies problems and develops solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing project scope. May coordinate the work of employees assigned to the project. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)
• Familiarity with codes 8i regulations (NFPA, UFC) codes)
• Coaching and mentoring of engineers and support staff

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, equivalent experience/combined education considered in lieu of degree.
• Design experience in a commercial office, manufacturing or industrial facility including office and equipment layouts, and/or mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction.
• Experienced in using CAD to produce layouts and construction documents (Examples - Microstation/AutoCAD/Catia)
• Knowledge of building codes and standards
• Project Management experience in working a project from conception to completion
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Pay Information
