The Instrument Interface Specialist acts as a facilitator and liaison between Business and IT for instrumentation and LIS-related changes. The role requires a strong understanding of laboratory instrumentation, middleware systems, and business processes related to validating and processing orders/results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between Business and IT for instrumentation and LIS changes
• Gather and document interface and business requirements
• Collaborate with Product Management, Solution Architects, Business Partners, Application Development, and QA teams
• Support multiple implementation and conversion projects
• Perform research, testing, and validation of instrument interfaces
• Ensure interfaces comply with vendor and enterprise specifications
• Design and oversee interface implementation plans
• Provide project status updates and communicate go-live activities, documentation, and checklists
• Educate stakeholders on interface capabilities and limitations
• Support user acceptance testing and post-implementation activities

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate's pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
