Resident Manager

We have an exciting position available for a Part-Time Resident Manager at a San Francisco property. As a Resident Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring their safety, satisfaction, and comfort. This role requires living on-site in a unit provided by the owner and entails providing exceptional customer service to the tenants in the building and helping with basic handyman-type projects/repairs. Additionally, the Resident Manager will be on-call for emergencies and accessible via phone at all times. Responsibilities Serve as the primary tenant liaison between residents and the property management office, fostering positive tenant relationships. Maintain the safety, security, cleanliness, and overall appeal of the property, ensuring it is an attractive and safe place to live. Receive and address maintenance requests from residents. Coordinate repairs with vendors. Track annual certifications and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns from residents. Monitor and address lease violations or non-compliance issues, collaborating with the Property Manager as needed. Be available on-call for emergencies and accessible via phone at all times. Maintain organized records of resident communication, work orders, and vendor interactions. Qualifications Ability to live on-site at the property in a unit provided by the owner. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in property management software, ticketing systems, and other relevant tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Familiarity with maintenance tasks and the ability to diagnose minor repair requests is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Availability to be on-call for emergencies and accessible via phone at all times. Prior experience in a customer service or property management role is advantageous. Familiarity with compliance regulations and processes is a plus.
