Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Fremont that are seeking skilled CNC Machinists. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code to determine machining operations and required tooling.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and part quality.
• Load and unload materials, adjust machine offsets, and change tools as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code.
• Demonstrated expertise in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong understanding of various machining processes, tooling, and materials.
• Proficient in performing quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Experience with G-code programming and/or conversational programming at the machine control.
• Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam)
• Proficiency in G-code programming and editing
• Certification in CNC machining or a related field
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on machinery
