The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
- Set up EDM machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and adherence to tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
- Interpret blueprints and CAD models to determine machining parameters.
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
- Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM)
- Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
