Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required; CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Experience with EKG interpretation - Epic charting experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department. The shift will be nights, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Flexibility with scheduling is required. Candidates should be aware of a strict policy regarding tardiness and unexcused absences. There may be weekend and holiday shifts required. Possession of current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH is mandatory. Experience with CPI, PALS, and TNCC is preferred but not required. The nurse will be responsible for a variety of patient diagnoses and emergencies. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Candidates are expected to manage diverse patient needs, including trauma cases. EKG testing is required; candidates must be prepared for a Pass/Fail examination. Only candidates with Epic charting experience will be considered. Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The role involves direct patient care and the implementation of treatment plans. Dedicated professional development and continued education opportunities are provided.
