Director OF Training

Full job description Position summary Ensures that all staff members are in compliance with DHS training requirements Create and maintain all training records and employees’ logs Provide monthly schedules at least 30 days in advance for staffing purposes Assure that HR has a copy of all training logs and certificates Works in conjunction with Residential Coordinators to give appropriate staff feedback when necessary Works in conjunction with Executive Director to give final determination of staff appraisals and promotions of rank and salary. Position Qualifications Require Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field or a minimum of 60 credits from an accredited college/ university and 6 yrs exp. All candidates must pass a Criminal Record and Child Abuse History/Clearance and possess a valid Driver’s License. Experience Experience in CASSP system and/or residential care preferred. Special Training / Skills Must Be Certified CPR Instructor Must be Certified First Aid Instructor Must be Certified Trainer of Physical and Verbal De-escalation techniques Specifications The general nature and level of work being performed are contained in this job description.
