Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Technology in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, conducting routine rounds, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including providing directions and reporting unauthorized access or unusual activity to appropriate personnel. Support a professional healthcare environment by maintaining awareness of site conditions, communicating clearly with staff and visitors, and following Allied Universal and site-specific post orders. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
