Mentor teams while delivering exceptional client-focused solutions.Job DescriptionDirector of Family Office OverviewThe Director of Family Office will oversee comprehensive financial advisory services for high-net-worth individuals and families.Lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering integrated solutions across accounting, tax, and wealth management functions.Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients, understanding their financial objectives and legacy goals.Coordinate services with external advisors, including attorneys, trustees, and investment professionals.Drive client service excellence and contribute to the growth of the Family Office Services practice.Foster a collaborative and accountable culture while mentoring and developing team members.Participate in strategic initiatives, business development, and networking activities to expand client relationships.Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements within the practice.Director of Family Office Key Responsibilities & DutiesManage complex client relationships, serving as the primary advisor for family office clients.Provide strategic guidance on financial, operational, and family office matters.Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management processes.Review consolidated financial statements and reporting packages for diverse entities.Monitor liquidity needs and support investment administration activities.Lead, mentor, and develop managers, associates, and staff within the practice.Identify opportunities to expand services and participate in business development activities.Ensure quality, accuracy, and risk management across client engagements.Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices.Director of Family Office Job RequirementsBachelor of Science (BS) degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.Minimum of 12 years of experience in family office services or related areas.Preferred 17 years of experience in financial advisory or wealth management.Proven expertise in accounting, tax planning, and wealth transfer strategies.Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams.Ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver exceptional service.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with external advisors.Proficiency in financial reporting and investment administration processes.
