Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or unauthorized access. Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas to help support access control practices, observe site activity, and communicate security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations. Assist with opening and closing activities, support tenant and visitor needs, and help maintain an orderly environment by following post instructions and client location protocols. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
