Position Details Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access points and perform screening of people, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with post orders and security‑related procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for unusual activity and conditions that could impact operations. Support shipping and receiving area protocols by verifying authorized entry, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
