Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a rapid response position in a high-risk OB unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Labor and Delivery and be ready to join a dynamic team focused on providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk obstetrical care to both mothers and newborns.
• Administer medications and interventions as necessary, including magnesium and insulin drips.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in all procedures related to high-risk obstetrics.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP (Intermediate), and AWHONN certifications are required for submission.
• A minimum of one year of travel experience in high-risk OB/L&D is mandatory.
• Experience with fetal monitoring and handling high-volume cases is preferred.
• Ability to float within women's services including postpartum and antepartum as needed.
