Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 29-bed unit requiring night shift availability and Epic charting experience.

Job Details

• Work on a 29-bed Med/Surg unit with a cardiac and telemetry patient population,
• Night shift schedule: 18:45-07:15,
• 13-week contract,
• Epic EMR used for charting,

Job Requirements

• Active TX RN license or a compact RN license valid in Texas,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, both must be AHA-issued,
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required,
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required,
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required,
• Two professional references required for consideration,
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration,
• Copy of certifications and license verification/Nursys required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols,
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, and communicate patient condition as appropriate,
• Coordinate discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team,
• Navy or maroon scrubs required,
