- Schedule and revise shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, production rates, and product demand to maintain optimal inventory availability.
- Analyze inventory trends and determine reorder levels to balance service levels and inventory costs.
- Perform inventory analysis to identify discrepancies, shortages, excess inventory, and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct cycle counts and support inventory reconciliation activities.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports, metrics, and related documentation.
- Support inventory valuation and inventory accounting processes.
- Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Process and maintain inventory transactions within ERP systems.
- Collaborate with operations, production, logistics, and warehouse teams to coordinate inventory activities.
- Support inventory audits, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in inventory control, inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or materials management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of inventory planning, replenishment, and demand forecasting processes.
- Experience conducting cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with inventory valuation and inventory accounting practices.
