About Equitable Facilities Fund (EFF) Equitable Facilities Fund (EFF) is a nonprofit social impact fund on a nationwide mission to help high-performing public charter schools spend more on students and less on borrowing costs for their facilities. We offer school leaders simple and much-needed access to low-cost loans combined with support from an expert team that has walked in their shoes. To date, EFF has invested over $2 billion in over 120 schools serving over 140,000 students across 24 states and Washington, D.C. Equity is at the core of our mission, and we seek to create opportunity for students and communities that have traditionally been denied access to high-quality educational opportunities. In 2023, EFF launched Fund II through which we will commit an additional $1 billion, leading to $3 billion in investments by 2028.
Job Summary The Vice President, Asset Management is a pivotal leadership role at EFF, advancing our mission to ensure that every high-impact charter school serving historically marginalized communities has a clear pathway to affordable, sustainable financing. The Vice President will own the full lifecycle of portfolio oversight: tracking school performance, monitoring covenant compliance, and producing high-quality internal and external reporting materials. They will serve as EFF's lead relationship manager with rating agencies and will play a central role in maintaining EFF's portfolio report to the bond market - translating complex data into compelling, investor-ready narratives. Beyond core portfolio responsibilities, the Vice President will contribute to high-priority special projects and serve as a thought leader across all aspects of charter school lending and investing. This is a role for a leader who thrives at the intersection of financial rigor and mission impact - someone with the technical depth to manage a complex portfolio and the judgment to navigate mission-driven capital deployment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Management
Location We are open to applicants from across the continental U.S. The role will be expected to travel to cities across the country for 3+ days most months to participate in team activities.
