Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Mid Shift: 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), Monday through Friday.

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide patient care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and supporting patients through their recovery journey.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Manage patient discharge planning and follow-up care.
Provide support and education to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience required.
Previous charge nurse experience is required.
Current RN license must be active and in hand at submission.
BLS certification required.
Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary.
Specialty experience in ICU, MS, PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, and Obs is required.
Must pass a mandatory EKG exam as part of compliance requirements.
Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies is necessary.
