Job Title: Sr UX Researcher

Location: Remote role but must be on site for week 1. Ideal locations for candidate to reside are - NYC, DC, Charlotte, San Antonio, Irvine. Duration: 12+Months. Pay Rate: Open, DOE.

Job Description:

Lead strategic design and execution of user-centered research and usability studies that provide actionable insights which influence design and development of associate, branch team and client systems, tools, applications and processes. Collaborating and supporting business areas and objectives that align to firm, division and department priorities and focus on client and user centricity. Designing and executing user research using qualitative and quantitative methods. Determining and recommending the most efficient and effective research approaches to solve for business needs and meet agreed-upon objectives, then guiding business areas through the appropriate UX process. Applying appropriate change management best practices and approach to build rapport, understand user needs, address resistance and reinforce key learnings or results. Identifying, influencing, supporting and partnering with multi-disciplinary teams, including other business areas, to execute UX projects. Working with and providing supporting documentation to others that influences product, system or application development and implementation to ensure creation of efficient, sustainable and successful results.

Consolidate, analyze and interpret user-experience research data and apply critical thinking as to how it addresses the business objectives. Leverages knowledge, skills and experience to manage multiple priorities, resources and initiatives and looks for ways to align areas. Identifies when and how a problem should be escalated and proactively suggests solutions.

Makes decisions on research methods to solve complex technology questions. Informs the decision-making process by providing user feedback. Articulates and sets expectations for deliverables and outcomes of the project. Requires creativity, collaboration and negotiation skills in a matrix environment. Proficient in influencing others.

Serves as a resource to all divisions in the firm. Research is conducted with investors, clients, financial advisors, branch-office administrators (BOAs) and associates and is utilized by almost every area of the firm. Makes recommendations on end-user facing technology that impacts millions of users.

Leverage data, analytics and insights to understand user behaviors/engagement and identify opportunities to improve digital experiences. In partnership with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams, assist with rollout of new products, features, and experiences to users. Take ownership for self-development, staying current with research techniques and tools in the field of UX. Work with and provide supporting documentation to others that influences product, system or application development and implement to ensure creation of efficient, sustainable and successful results. Assist leadership with strategic planning, resource allocation and guidance to UX associates. Integrate AI-driven research tools to streamline data collection and analysis. Lead synthesis of complex data into compelling narratives that influence product direction. Contribute to research repositories to support scalability and knowledge sharing. Champion ethical research practices and inclusive participant recruitment strategies.

Qualifications Required:

3+ years' experience in User Experience research or business analysis. Proficient in screening and recruiting participants. Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative user experience research methodologies. Proactively develops self in the field of current and emerging research and technology. Proficient in critical thinking, strategic thinking, process improvement, relationship-building and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in written and verbal communication. Able to research, analyze and consolidate data into trends and share with teams. Proficient in project management and organizational skills. Able to establish and maintain effective relationships across departments, business areas, and vendors. Responds well to direction, embraces feedback and change.
