Candidates may need to cover one night shift within their contract as needed. Weekends are required. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities nearby. Description: The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the operating room. The nurse will assist in surgical procedures across trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic specialties. Candidates should have experience with high patient acuity and must be adept in emergency situations. The nursing staff works collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and effective communication. The position may involve participating in call rotation every six weeks. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining current knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment. Teamwork is essential for high-quality patient care and support of surgical teams. All candidates must be willing to work holidays as required. Compliance with facility policies and procedures is expected. Strong organizational and multitasking skills are necessary for successful performance in this role. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare setting.
