About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as the primary steward of its financial health, ensuring that all financial decisions align with and enhance the organization's mission. The CFO will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, executive leadership team, and the Boards to translate financial information into strategic insights, creating the financial clarity and discipline necessary for the organization to operate with confidence. This role is pivotal in maintaining the alignment of financial resources with the organization's values and long-term sustainability, and in fostering the growth and development of the finance team. Key responsibilities for the CFO include strategic financial leadership, real estate stewardship, and team development. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, banking, investments, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. They must have a strong background in nonprofit financial stewardship, particularly within tax-exempt organizations, and experience in real estate finance and asset management. The CFO will also be expected to have a proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams, as well as experience in providing strategic oversight of institutional investment portfolios and aligning investment strategy with the organization's mission and financial objectives. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for an advanced degree or professional certification.
