Key Responsibilities
- Review GL activity, financial statements, and audit schedules
- Perform analytical reviews and identify unusual transactions
- Support grant compliance and fund accounting requirements
- Prepare audit workpapers and testing documentation
- Assist with Form 990 and external regulatory filings
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements
- Handle consolidations and intercompany eliminations
- Nonprofit/Governmental accounting
- Audit support & financial statement preparation
- GAAP knowledge
- Grant & fund accounting
- Trial balance analysis
- Advanced Excel
- Form 990 support
- Internal controls review
- Audit workpapers & compliance documentation
- CPA or CPA-track
- Single Audit experience
- Knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200
- QuickBooks, Blackbaud, MIP, Sage Intacct, NetSuite
- UFR, SAC, USDA MINC, REAC filings
- Bachelor's in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of nonprofit or governmental accounting experience
