IT Technician

IT TechnicianAs an IT Technician supporting Ojo Spa Resorts - including Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa and Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort - this role requires travel to the Ojo Santa Fe property, as well as Ojo Caliente. You will be responsible for responding to technical assistance requests both in person and remotely.The IT Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and resolve issues related to computer systems and network infrastructure, ensuring a seamless experience for staff. Additionally, you will research technical inquiries, provide guidance to users, escalate urgent issues as needed, redirect problems to appropriate resources, and document resolutions.Responsibilities:Installs, configures, and maintains all computer hardware and software systems.Supports, troubleshoots, and upgrades applicable system infrastructures, both remotely and in person.Provides technical support to staff, including researching user complaints, issues, answering technical questions, and/or assisting with application revisions.Analyzes business process issues and/or problems and provides consulting assistance to system users.Conducts research on possible solutions and makes recommendations based on findings; develops proposals that outline feasibility and costs; suggests, designs, tests, implements, and evaluates solutions.Oversees inventory of all IT assets and equipment and maintains adequate stock of computer equipment, peripherals, and accessories.Monitors and maintains systems to ensure system integrity and network security to protect against malware and other threats.Reporting to the IT Manager and Assistant Manager, you will also help to ensure consistency within and between Ojo Spa Resorts properties (Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort and Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort) and will provide superior customer service to the Resort General Managers, managers, and employees.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or higher degree in computer science or a related field preferred.Two or more years of related experience with computers and IT support service, preferably at a hotel or resort.Technical knowledge of Network concepts/LAN, TCP/IP protocols, configure & setup routers and switches, current Windows operating systems, PC hardware (desktops and laptops), printers, Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Servers, and Virtual environments is required.Professional certification from CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCSA, MTA or CCNA is desired.IT experience with Hospitality, Agilysys PMS, IP Cameras, VOIP and SQL knowledge a plus.Gracious communicator with strong verbal communication skills.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff.Ability to work holidays and occasional evenings and/or weekends.Ability to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push, and pull items weighing 40 pounds or less.The capability and availability to travel to both Ojo Caliente and Ojo Santa Fe.Our mission is to provide genuinely gracious hospitality while stewarding and sharing sacred springs.Our CORE VALUES are: accountability ~ authenticity ~ diversity ~ excellence ~ gratitude ~ happiness ~ integrity ~ mindfulness ~ respect ~ teamworkOjo Spa Resorts Discounts and Perks:Ojo Santa Fe and Ojo Caliente:Mission based company with values you can trustMedical, Dental, Vision, generous 401k (with employer match) after applicable waiting periodsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Paid Sick TimePaid Time OffOngoing training to build critical skills for current and future rolesNumerous Growth & Developmental OpportunitiesCompetitive CompensationDiscounted Employee LunchFree Lunch/Dinner on Thanksgiving & ChristmasEmployee Appreciation LunchesAbove and Beyond Awards - Ojo BucksFREE Soak in the Springs (Monday - Thursday).
