As a dedicated Occupational Therapist serving a K–12 caseload, you’ll use your expertise to help students overcome challenges and thrive both academically and socially.

As an integral member of the educational team, your role will focus on fostering student success, maximizing independence, and empowering each individual’s potential. The upcoming assignment runs from August 2024 through May 2025, offering a consistent schedule of 37 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• State licensure/certification required
• Prior schools-based experience strongly preferred

In this role, you’ll:

• Assess and treat students with a range of physical, cognitive, and sensory needs impacting school participation
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals
• Conduct evaluations, deliver therapy sessions, and accurately document progress
• Actively collaborate with school staff to provide effective accommodations for students
• Offer training and education to teachers and staff to promote inclusive classroom practices
