The assignment will take place during the 2026-2027 academic year and is based entirely onsite.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active South Carolina PT license (or any compact PT license recognized by SC)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within school environments
• Confidence providing physical therapy across K-12 grade levels
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to create an inclusive therapeutic environment for students with diverse needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, onsite physical therapy services to K-12 students as specified in their IEPs and care plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other therapists to optimize student outcomes
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment goals, and monitor student progress
• Accurately document session information, keep up-to-date records, and complete required reporting
• Provide consultation, education, and support to staff and families regarding student needs
• Foster a safe and positive atmosphere that encourages active student participation in therapy sessions
