Work Environment

This role is based in an onsite outpatient office setting, specifically designed to facilitate interaction between physical therapists and patients. You will predominantly work during regular office hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM . Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, enabling you to employ current best practices in physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate patients' movement disorders, strength, balance, and mobility limitations.
• Utilize clinical expertise to identify underlying causes of pain and dysfunction, integrating evidenced-based methodologies in treatment planning.
• Develop and implement customized rehabilitation programs tailored to the specific goals of each patient, adjusting plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Provide one-on-one therapeutic interventions, assisting patients in achieving their rehabilitation milestones while monitoring their progress closely.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care activities, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Educate patients about injury prevention, effective rehabilitation exercises, and holistic wellness strategies to empower them in their recovery journeys.
• Collaborate effectively with orthopedic physicians and medical staff to develop comprehensive care strategies aimed at optimizing patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will focus on a diverse patient population, predominantly consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Many patients seek rehabilitation to regain strength and function following injuries, and your role will be crucial in supporting and guiding them through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey .
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for patients.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a cooperative team, prioritizing patient outcomes and team cohesion.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, ideally in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
