Electronic Assembly Production AssociateThis role focuses on performing standardized and repetitive electronic assembly operations, including manual component insertion, labeling, and visual inspection of assemblies and subassemblies. You follow detailed verbal and written instructions, work with visual aids, and use hand tools and bar code scanners to ensure components are assembled, handled, and marked accurately. You maintain clear documentation of progress, support inventory replenishment, and uphold safety, cleanliness, and security procedures while working under close supervision in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Follow detailed verbal and written instructions, including visual aids, to complete electronic assembly tasks accurately and consistently.Perform basic standardized and repetitive electronic assembly operations, including labeling of components, assemblies, and subassemblies.Prepare and manually assemble inserted components according to visual aids, verifying specifications before assembly.Visually inspect parts, components, and assemblies to confirm proper insertion, placement, and overall quality.Utilize bar code scanners and small hand tools to support assembly, tracking, and identification of components.Ensure assemblies and components are properly handled, stored, and marked throughout the production process.Accurately maintain progress reports and production documentation to reflect work completed and status of assemblies.Monitor and restock parts bins and assembly materials as required to support continuous production flow.Work under direct, close supervision of manufacturing leadership, following guidance from supervisors and line managers.Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the assigned work area at all times to support safety and efficiency.Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with the position and follow supervisor directions.Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy related to equipment, materials, and data.Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support production and operational needs.Essential Skills:Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions and accurately interpret visual aids.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and visual documentation.Ability to write simple correspondence and maintain clear, accurate progress reports.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in a production setting.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent as needed for production and reporting.Ability to operate a personal computer using a Windows-based operating system and related software.Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with internal software packages used for production, tracking, and reporting.Comfort using bar code scanners and small hand tools in a manufacturing environment.Attention to detail for visual inspection of parts and assemblies to ensure proper insertion and placement.Ability to work effectively under direct supervision and within established procedures and standards.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with electronic or mechanical assembly in a production environment.Comfort working with hand tools and, where applicable, basic power tools.Familiarity with 5S principles and maintaining an organized, clean work area.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-volume manufacturing setting.Willingness to learn and use company-specific software and systems.Interest in developing hands-on technical skills with cutting-edge products and technologies.Why Work Here?Join a global industry leader with over 60 years of manufacturing excellence and a strong reputation for quality and innovation.
