Learn more about why you want to be here!/ph3Essential Duties And Responsibilities/h3pPerforms routine accounts receivable functions./pulliHandles all incoming and outgoing mail for the department./liliProcesses daily check spasm and wire deposits./liliProcesses online payments including the setup of recurring automatic payments./liliAttaches correspondence to policies in SAP (including cancellations and direct collection policies)./liliClears matching payments that were not cleared by the system./li/ulpProvides accounts receivable services to customers./pulliReviews and responds to emails received by department group email account./liliProvides research on payment status, account balance, cancellation/reinstatement status etc./liliHandles customers calls from agents and policyholders./liliAssists with processing payments, balances, and payment status./liliReferences several systems to research policy information./liliPrepares monthly agency statements./liliUpdates email contact and coordinates address changes./li/ulpPrepares reports and resolves discrepancies./pulliPrepares and provides account histories upon customer request./liliMonitors and addresses funds posted to the shell account./liliAssists in reconciling account discrepancies./liliPrepares various reports as requested./liliApplies Final Audit Credits to open balances./liliResearches Past Due amounts for policies on automatic payment./liliReaches out to customers regarding declined and rejected payments./li/ulh3Education And Experience/h3pHigh School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. Associates degree preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in an office environment in customer service and/or accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience required./ph3Knowledge And Skills/h3pKnowledge of basic math and accounting concepts is required. Working knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word preferred. Ability to understand and carry out simple instructions in standard situations. Must be Customer service oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to effectively present information to policyholders, agents, and internal parties./ph3Physical Requirements/h3pOffice environment no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands and employees are regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, and hear./ph3Work Environment/h3pThis position operates in an office environment and requires the frequent use of a computer, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment./ppWe are currently not offering employment sponsorship for this opportunity/ppThe current range for this position is $19.58 - $30.88. This range is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
