People Partner

About the Role Twitch is searching for a People Partner to join our People and Places team. Reporting to the Director, People Business Partners and Employee Relations, you will support our employees, senior managers and Principal People Business Partners with our people programs and experiences at Twitch. Our people partners need to understand our business, have a connection to our employees, and a passion for our culture. They develop relationships which allow them to address pain points and ensure we have a workplace where everyone can contribute. Success in this role comes from maintaining organized routines, demonstrating strong follow-through, and building effective partnerships with both the People team, managers and employees. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You Will: Establish relationships with leaders up to the senior manager level, acting as a liaison between the People Team and the business. Coach senior managers on behaviors that impact engagement and retention. Reinforce expectations and guide leaders in effectively utilizing available resources to improve team communication, recognition, and performance conversations. Provide frontline employee support by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring appropriate resolution or escalation of employee matters. Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Hold Exit Interviews with departing employees and analyze qualitative feedback on a regular basis. Support a positive employee experience by executing key, cyclical programs in partnership with Principal People Business Partners and other cross‑functional partners. Collaborate across the People and Places teams, across departments within Twitch and with our partners at Amazon. You Have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (e.g., creating documents in Word/Google Docs, using basic spreadsheet functions in Excel/Google Sheets, managing calendars) Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences (e.g., explaining processes, addressing concerns, providing technical guidance) Bonus Points Degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field HRCI (PHR, SPHR) or SHRM certifications Experience in customer service or people-facing roles, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (e.g., ability to use pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas) Proficiency in using AI-powered tools, HR analytics platforms, and emerging technologies to derive insights and drive process improvements Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in fast-paced, dynamic environments Experience building partnerships and collaborating effectively across teams, demonstrating adaptability and autonomy Ability to exercise sound judgement and navigate ambiguous situations with limited direction Basic understanding of HR processes and policies Demonstrated problem-solving skills and resourcefulness Perks Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance 401(k) Maternity & Parental Leave Flexible PTO Amazon Employee Discount US, WA, Seattle - Annually $80,400—$118,400 USD US, CA, San Francisco - Annually $74,400—$130,200 USD US, NY, New York - Annually $74,400—$130,200 USD Twitch is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
