Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This onsite role is conveniently located near Luling, LA, and involves working in an itinerant capacity, supporting approximately 35 students. The assignment spans from August 3, 2026, to June 4, 2027, offering consistent Monday through Friday hours, making it an ideal setting for professionals who thrive in educational environments.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Physical Therapist (PT) state license required
• Experience delivering PT services within a school setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with a diverse caseload ranging from early childhood to high school
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with all special education and documentation standards

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services based on students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure interdisciplinary support
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school district and state guidelines
• Travel between campuses as needed to meet the needs of assigned caseload
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reviews and planning
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and engagement in school activities
