The role involves defending healthcare providers and institutions in medical malpractice and professional liability litigation, assisting with cases through all phases including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial. Key responsibilities include analyzing medical records, working closely with expert witnesses and consulting physicians, drafting persuasive motions and briefs, participating in witness preparation and court appearances, collaborating on strategic defense plans, and assisting with regulatory investigations and professional licensing matters.
