Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments to understand clients' needs, history, and treatment goals.

• Facilitating both group and individual therapy sessions, catering to couples and families while also addressing individual needs.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to promote effective healing.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate a holistic understanding of family dynamics, conflict resolution, and communication strategies.
\n
• Providing ongoing support and adjustment of treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring clients remain engaged in their therapeutic journeys.

• Documenting client progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in accordance with clinic protocols and confidentiality policies.
\n
• Participating in supervision and professional development sessions, contributing insights to enhance team effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your therapeutic focus will encompass a wide range of issues, including:

• Addressing physical and psychological abuse concerns.
\n
• Guiding clients through grief and loss, facilitating healthy coping mechanisms.
\n
• Assisting clients with family conflicts, including parent-child relationships and sibling rivalries.

• Helping blended families navigate the complexities of remarriage and adjustment.
\n
• Supporting clients undergoing separation or divorce, focusing on effective adjustment strategies.
\n
• Encouraging improved communication strategies among family members.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited program.
\n
• Proven ability to build a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to maintain effective workload management and administrative responsibilities.

• A nonjudgmental and empathetic approach toward clients' experiences, fostering a supportive environment.

Preferred Experience\n
