Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' symptoms related to mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's individual needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies to promote understanding and support.
\n
• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed based on ongoing evaluations.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging research and methodologies that inform best practices in mood disorder therapy.

• Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality guidelines by ensuring accurate and secure documentation of client interactions.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to team knowledge.

• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and providing supportive engagement in their journeys toward healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse clientele, including clients in challenging life situations such as homelessness, refugee status, or victims of domestic abuse, ensuring each client receives culturally sensitive and appropriate therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition to the base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
