Key Qualifications:

• Active Oregon Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Previous experience with pediatric populations or school-based physical therapy strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to assess, plan, and execute individualized therapy plans for students with diverse needs
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans to support each student’s academic success and mobility
• Provide direct therapy services in classrooms or designated therapy spaces following the school calendar
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to maximize carry-over of strategies and techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and documentation for compliance
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations to ensure effective plans
• Educate staff and caregivers on ways to facilitate students’ motor development and participation
