As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring, people-first culture through teamwork, integrity, and dependable service while supporting a professional environment. CPR/First Aid and Guard Card/License are preferred.

Pay Rate: $19.95 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document incidents, observations, and required reports accurately.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related conditions and response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
